Date Oatmeal Cookies – Another simple treat

My roomie came up with this recipe (well, she found it ) and this time I’m only her assistance

Ingredients:

Quick oats – 3 cups

Eggs – 2

The 2nd version of Nem – Vietnamese spring roll

There have been so many names for our Vietnamese “nem” when it comes to …globalized lol People call our “Nem” egg rolls, spring rolls, blah blah n blah blah. Why dont we just call them Nem(s) – as they’ve always been, in their most original state? U know, just like in Vietnam we call pizzas “Pizza”, spaghetti “Spaghetti”, or burgers “Burger”- I think we should show the same level of appreciation to our Vietnamese food as they’re going international. Why change? Those’re THEIR names For Vietnamese nem, u can call them “nem” or “chả giò” – the two refer to the same thing, the only difference is that one (nem) is familiar to people in the North, while the other is often used by people in the South.

Because it was Friday :D

… and this girl had just been done w her 1st exam for the course, she had her own freedom of total 8 hours to do whatever she wanted

And there comes ….

A 2nd version of Vietnamese “nem” – yes, from now on she’s gonne called her nem “Nem”

And l8ter on, together w her roomie, she made Dates Oatmeal Cookies

And it’s not the end, yet, for this baking-obsessed creature, this was born: Chocolate Muffin !!!

Tiny cookies

I feel really really bored today. I wanted to make sth else, like savory bread, but I didn’t have enough ingredients to make nice-enough fillings. And actually I was so so so fed up with everything that I didn’t want to follow any recipe at all. So simple I just jumped to my kitchen , and started with very basic ingredients, hoping to make sth eatable. That’s all I ever wanted (today!) And thank God I was lucky enough to make sth simple and eatable

Strawberries Galettes

There’s one ultimate reason why I love making galettes: U only have to roll the dough, and basically that’s all done. The rest of the work is just like kiddie stuff And in the end u can still have urself a pie !!! Wiii
